If a medical emergency occurs when the practice is closed, please ring the following number 01706 888223. This call will be automatically diverted to the out of hours service who will then arrange appropriate further management.

Home Visits
Please telephone 01706 888222.  Where possible, we ask that a request for a home visit be made before 10.30am. Be prepared to give brief details of the problem to the receptionist to enable the doctor to assess the urgency of your call.

Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone or use the link at the bottom of this page to cancel your appointment.

We are constantly monitoring non attenders, and there has been an increase in the number of patients failing to attend.  If you fail to attend without informing us we will write to you.  If you repeatedly fail to attend for appointments you may be removed from the practice list and will have to find an alternative GP. 

Repeat Prescriptions

You can now order your repeat prescriptions on line.  Simply go to the prescriptions page and enter your information.  Please remember to allow 24 hours for your prescription to be be prepared.  If you wish to collect your prescription from a chemist please ask the chemist to pick your prescription up from the surgery for you.

Private medicals and reports

The NHS does not cover certain medicals, reports and forms. These will be charged at the BMA recommended rate. Please ask at reception for details.


NHS Walk in Centre

The nearest walk in centre is The Integrated Care Centre in the centre of Oldham  This is next door to the Civic Centre. The centre is open from 7.00am to 11.00pm.
