If a medical emergency occurs when the practice is closed, please ring the following number 01706 847106 or 01706 908614. This call will be automatically diverted to the out of hours service who will then arrange appropriate further management.

Home Visits
Please telephone 01706 842511.  Where possible, we ask that a request for a home visit be made before 10.30am. Be prepared to give brief details of the problem to the receptionist to enable the doctor to assess the urgency of your call.

Your telephone numbers

Please could you let us know your phone/mobile number.  It is very important that we have this information in order for us to contact you if necessary.  Some of  the information we have is out of date.

Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone or use the link at the bottom of this page to cancel your appointment.

We are constantly monitoring non attenders, and there has been an increase in the number of patients failing to attend.  If you fail to attend without informing us we will write to you.  If you repeatedly fail to attend for appointments you may be removed from the practice list and will have to find an alternative GP.

Repeat Prescriptions

You can now order your repeat prescriptions on line.  Simply go to the prescriptions page and enter your information.  Please remember to allow 24 hours for your prescription to be be prepared.  If you wish to collect your prescription from a chemist please ask the chemist to pick your prescription up from the surgery for you.

Patient Registration

All new patients are required to complete registration formalities and are offered an appointment with a nurse to enable the surgery to make a full assessment of your medical needs. On registering with the practice you may wish to express a preference of which doctor you would like to be registered with. Please let the receptionist know and we will make the necessary arrangements.

We ask for information about you so that you can receive the best possible care and treatment. We keep this information together with details of your care to ensure that your doctor, nurse or health care professional has accurate and up to date information.

There are such times when we have to pass on information to other people such as hospitals, social services, primary care trust etc. This is always done confidentially.
