During the COVID crisis we have been accepting telephone orders for repeat prescriptions in order to help patients and pharmacies.
From Thursday 1st October 2020 we will NO LONGER be accepting telephone orders for repeat prescriptions and non-acute medicines.
We are advising patients to return to their original method of prescription ordering.
If this is a problem for you and circumstances have changed please contact us so that we can advise on alternative ordering methods.
FLU CLINICS 2020
We are now taking bookings for the first Flu Clinic on Saturday 19th September 2020. The phase of patients that we will be booking as a priority are patients aged over 65 years of age, patients aged under 65 with long term conditions, Carer’s, pregnant ladies, patients who are having active cancer treatment and relatives who live with shielded patients.

Please be aware that the clinics will be very different this year as you will not be able to wait in the waiting room and we will be operating a one way in and one way out system.
Please take note of the following;
- Try to attend at the time you are given as you will have to observe social distancing in the queue outside the building
- You WILL NOT be able to wait in the waiting room
- Let us know when you are booking if you have any mobility problems
- Let us know if you will be attending in a wheelchair
- You may have to stand for a period of time whilst you are waiting to enter the building. We will have a small amount of chairs available
- You will need to wear a face covering when you attend for your flu injection
- Please wear short sleeves if possible.
To book an appointment please ring the dedicated booking line between 11am & 2pm to arrange an appointment. Please be patient when calling as this line will be very busy. If it is engaged we would recommend calling back as we have plenty of appointments to offer.

This is to stop any potential spread in the cases where patients with symptoms cannot be given appropriate triage & advice when booking online. EU Exit Medicines Update - 28.2.2019
NHS England have published updated information on planning for continuity of supply of medicines in the case of a "no deal" EU Exit. This is to reassure patients that they should continue to order mecications and medical supplies as normal. Seven Day Access Service
Patients who are registered with an Oldham GP can now make an appointment to see a GP in the evenings and at weekends. This may not be your own GP but a copy of the consultation will be sent to your Practice. At your appointment the GP will be able to see some of your medical records so that they are able to advise you accurately.

The staff will be able to advise you on the nearest available appointment.
Please remember that for treatment of minor ailments your local pharmacist will be able to advise you on the appropriate treatment. Your local Pharmacy will also be able to advise on medication queries and can sometimes help with emergency repeat prescriptions.
Please remember that A&E is for Accidents and Emergency attendance only. Please try to use one of the above health care professional contacts if your illness is not an emergency.
